Antrim's Josh Rock continued his rapid rise in the sport by overcoming Nathan Girvin 6-1 to secure the World Youth Championship title.
The 21-year-old produced a record average of 104 in the Minehead final as he beat his Scottish opponent and take the £10,000 top prize.
Rock hit a nine-darter against three-time world champion Michael van Gerwen earlier this month.
It follows him claiming his first PDC ranking title in October.
"I'm speechless," said Rock after his victory over Girvin in the Youth final.
"To be World Youth champion, I can't believe it. I'm very comfortable on this stage - I love playing on stage and prefer playing on stages to the floor tournaments.
"It's fantastic, I couldn't have written a better year. To have my name on the World Youth trophy and proving what I know I can do, I'm happy."
Rock will now set his sights on a Cazoo World Darts Championship debut at Alexandra Palace next month, as he bids to continue his remarkable emergence with further success.
"That's the one I want," he added. "You take one game at a time and that's what I do."
The Northern Ireland player lost 6-3 to Scotland's Cameron Menzies in the first round of the Players Championship finals at Minehead on Friday.
