What a quarter-final we have to finish!

It's home favourite and defending Premier League champion Michael van Gerwen up against world champion Luke Humphries.

Mighty Mike returned to form to win in Birmingham last week after falling at the first hurdle in five of the previous six weeks.

He is targeting a record fifth nightly win and he'll have a sell-out Dutch crowd cheering him on.

"It would be magic if I could win here in Rotterdam," he told the PDC.

"With the new [nightly] format I haven't done too well over here yet, so I hope I change that [tonight]."

Trying to spoil the party is Humphries, who has had a quiet few weeks since winning three nights on the bounce.

Cool Hand lost a last-leg decider to Luke Littler in the semi-finals last week and is now second, two points behind the teenager.

Victory tonight would see him return to the top of the tree.

  18. Aspinall one away...published at 20:33 British Summer Time 18 April

    Wright 2-5 Aspinall

  19. Wright holdspublished at 20:30 British Summer Time 18 April

    Wright 2-4 Aspinall

Nathan Aspinall misses darts at double six then double three, allowing Peter Wright to return and hit tops.

  20. Aspinall holdspublished at 20:28 British Summer Time 18 April

    Wright 1-4 Aspinall

Nathan Aspinall takes out 56 in two darts.

He's looked slightly nervy but surely more because he feels he has to win with Peter Wright struggling as he is rather than fearing comeback from the Scot?
