The world champion was a 6-3 winner in the final in Brighton on 7 March, and followed that with a 6-4 success in the quarter-final in Nottingham seven days ago.

You have to feel a bit for Gerwyn Price there - it took a wonderful finish in the decider to deny him a first final since week one.
But there were plenty of positive signs for the Welshman tonight, which he can hopefully take forward into the second half of the group phase.
