    Aspinall 2-0 Cross

Neither player looks totally convincing in this second leg and it should have been perfect for Cross to level it up.

Cross wasteful at double 16 and Aspinall pounces with a superb 114 checkout to go 2-0 up. Clinical.

Hardly what Cross needs in a game like this.

Nathan was really down on himself early on in this competition - he was not hitting the doubles how he wanted but he seems to have sorted that out.

    Aspinall 1-0 Cross

Very strong start from Aspinall, who throws five out of six perfect darts to start.

A couple of mis-throws from Aspinall almost opens the door for Cross to creep back in, but he takes out double five at the first time of asking to take the lead on his throw.

    Aspinall v Cross

Both men go green in their shirt choices as they make their way to the oche and we saw Peter Wright with similar tactics to get the home crowd on side in defeat to Luke Humphries.

Rob Cross is out first and he has lost all three meetings with Nathan Aspinall in the 2024 Premier League, but they've often been competitive affairs.

These two met in the quarter-finals last week in Nottingham, where Aspinall won 6-5.

The Dublin crowd passionately sing along to Aspinall's walkout sound of 'Mr Brightside' upon his arrival, continuing as both players throw some warm-up darts.

    Game on!

  5. 'They give it absolutely everything'published at 19:40 Greenwich Mean Time 21 March

    Nathan Aspinall v Rob Cross

    Mark Webster
Former BDO world champion on Sky Sports

I really like the attitude of both of these players. Whether they average 80 or 100, they give it absolutely everything. It's rightly the closest match-up and they are two players we maybe overlook, but they can definitely finish in the top four.

  6. 'I've got plenty of time'published at 19:38 Greenwich Mean Time 21 March

    Nathan Aspinall v Rob Cross

Nathan Aspinall to Sky Sports: "I've played Rob quite a bit recently, every time we've played each other we've bought the best out in each other. I've had the better of him each time so far."

Rob Cross to Sky Sports: "I'm enjoying it, I've not damaged myself. I'm just going to go out there and enjoy it."

    Aspinall v Cross

Graphic showing Nathan Aspinall and Rob Cross

Aside from Luke Humphries, Nathan Aspinall has been the form player in recent Premier League outings.

The world number four has got to three of the past four finals and took the night win in Exeter.

Rob Cross was the player Aspinall beat on that occasion and Cross, who has also shown glimpses of his best form in this competition, can count himself unlucky not to have taken home at least one weekly winner bonus of £10,000.

Aspinall has won all three of their previous meetings in this year’s Premier League.

    Result: Humphries 6-1 Wright

That's seven Premier League wins in a row for Luke Humphries, who is in his debut campaign.

The world champion is guaranteed to have at least 19 points and now only a Michael van Gerwen night win will prevent him reaching the halfway point of this year's competition in top spot.

  9. Humphries wins!published at 19:31 Greenwich Mean Time 21 March
    Breaking

    Result: Humphries 6-1 Wright

Not much Peter Wright could have done about that - Luke Humphries averages more than 106 in a clinical quarter-final win.

Wright will stay bottom of the table with just two points, while league leader Humphries marches on.

He'll play either Nathan Aspinall or Rob Cross in the last four, and we'll see those two players in action next.

Humphries has that Midas touch, everything he touches turns to gold. He had the instinct to go for the centre of the board, two bullseyes, take that.

    Outstanding! What a finish!

Luke Humphries takes out 120 with 20, bull, bull - brilliant.

Wright had missed two darts at tops and he was punished in ruthless fashion.

Sometimes, you just have to say that you're up against someone who is a lot better than me.

    Humphries 4-1 Wright

Humphries is scoring very, very well again - 81 left after nine darts, taken out in two more.

He's 4-1 up and two away from the semis.

  14. 'Humphries' reaction is brilliant'published at 19:27 Greenwich Mean Time 21 March

    Humphries 3-1 Wright

    Glen Durrant
Former Premier League champion on Sky Sports

When you're in a run of form like Humphries, you expect those 130s to just fall in and his reaction is brilliant. He is seeing that treble 20 so large right now.

    Humphries 3-1 Wright

    Glen Durrant
Former Premier League champion on Sky Sports

When things aren't going your way, it's tough. Wright is a two-time champion of the world, he doesn't want to just do well. He wants to be right up there.

  16. Humphries breaks with 130 finishpublished at 19:26 Greenwich Mean Time 21 March

    Humphries 3-1 Wright

The first break of the throw of the match and Luke goes 3-1 up.

Two treble 20s and then double five for a 130 checkout - lovely stuff from the world number one.

  17. Postpublished at 19:25 Greenwich Mean Time 21 March

    Humphries 2-1 Wright

Humphries hits maximums two and three of the match and he's miles clear, allowing him a bit of time to mop up the leg.

After nine darts, 50% of the time, Luke Humphries is left on a finish. He's the all-round package, but Peter Wright is doing well so far.

  19. Postpublished at 19:23 Greenwich Mean Time 21 March

    Humphries 1-1 Wright

Magnificent from Peter Wright, who is on 201 and hits a 177 to leave himself on double 12 - and he gets it at the second time of asking.

All square in a race to six.

  20. 'Everything Humphries touches turns to gold'published at 19:22 Greenwich Mean Time 21 March

    Humphries 1-0 Wright

    Glen Durrant

Everything Luke Humphires touches at the moment turns to gold. This is a brilliant place to play. The atmosphere and acoustics are brilliant.
