    It has been a turbulent Thursday inside Alexandra Palace for the seeded players at the 2025 PDC World Darts Championship.

    The two in action, Michael Smith and Gabriel Clemens, both exited after shock second round defeats, while there were thrilling wins for Callan Rydz, Robert Owen and Scott Williams.

    A quieter leg, Michael Smith just about beats Kevin Doets to a finish, but his first out opportunity is at 150, with Doets left a more favourable 64.
