Glasgow 2014: Tom Daley named in 15-strong England diving team

Olympic bronze medallist Tom Daley is the star name in England's 15-strong diving team for this summer's Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.

Daley, 20, won gold two medals at the Delhi Games in 2010,, external in the individual and synchronised 10m platform.

European silver medallists Tonia Couch and Sarah Barrow will be competing in their third Games.

Chris Mears and Jack Laugher will compete in the 3m synchro, with Laugher also competing in the 3m springboard.

"The Commonwealth Games are a great chance to get yourself into a multi-sport mindset just two years ahead of the Olympics," said Daley.

Team England Chef de Mission Jan Paterson said: "This is a superb squad of divers. We have a great mix of experience and talent who I'm sure will do the nation proud this summer."
