Former world champion Ros Canter completed a double of five-star event victories within five months as she won aboard Izilot DHI in Pau, France.
Canter finished five points clear of her nearest rival on 28.7, to follow up her success at Badminton in the spring.
"I'm unbelievably proud of the horse," she said.
Current world number one and Olympic team gold medallist Oliver Townend was second on Tregilder, with fellow Briton Tom McEwen on JL Dublin in third.
Canter headed the final standings in which six British riders made up the top six - Piggy March fourth, Kylie Roddy fifth and Kirsty Chabert sixth.
As well as her victory at Badminton, the 37-year-old has also won individual and team European gold at Haras du Pin this year with her other horse Lordships Graffalo.
"It makes all of the hard work at home worthwhile," added Canter.
