Ipswich Town academy products Luke Hyam and Ronan Murray, both 19, have both signed one-year contracts.

Midfielder Hyam has made 13 starts this season but has not played since picking up a hamstring injury in November.

Striker Murray made 12 substitute appearances for the Tractor Boys before leaving for Torquay on loan in March.

"I've been involved in the squad lately and now I've got to show the manager I'm worth a place in his side next season," Hyam told the club website.

"It's been an up and down year for me, with playing games at the start of the season and then getting the red card at Reading and then tearing my hamstring."

Murray has made seven appearances for Torquay in League Two but has now been recalled by Ipswich.

The Republic of Ireland Under-21 international said: "I really enjoyed my time at Torquay but I'm an Ipswich Town player and want to play games here."
