AFC Telford United finish with win over Harrogate Town

AFC Telford United ended their Blue Square Bet North league campaign with a comfortable 3-0 win over Harrogate Town at Bucks Head.

Carl Rodgers scored the only goal of the first half, guiding the ball in with a clever header from a corner.

Alex Meechan made it 2-0 to the Bucks before Phil Trainer rounded off the scoring from close range.

Telford will now face Nuneaton Town in the Blue Square Bet North play-offs on Tuesday night.

Manager Andy Sinton told BBC Radio Shropshire: "Whatever happens in the next two weeks we've done great. We'll give it our best shot."
