Cardiff City's Christ Burke volunteers for penalty duty

Chris Burke will volunteer to take a penalty if a shoot-out is needed to settle their play-off semi-final second-leg against Reading on Tuesday.
Burke cannot recall the last time he did so and says the Bluebirds have not discussed the scenario for the Cardiff City Stadium clash, external.
But he said: "If I'm asked to take one, will I actually put my hand up and take one? Yes I will."
The Scottish winger also says there is no point being nervous on the night.
Burke said: "At the end of the day you have to do it, so what's the point of being nervous? You either go out there and be nervous or go out there and show what you've got.
"I think that's the best way to approach the game.
"We've got a great opportunity to get to Wembley - one game away, one victory away to do it and that's the way you've got to look at it.
"No nerves - you can't be apprehensive or anything like that. You have to be positive and I'm sure the boy will do that."
Burke backed up that approach by declaring his desire to take a penalty should the need arise as the Bluebirds go into the tie level with Reading after a 0-0 draw, external in Friday's first leg at Madejski Stadium.
He said: "We've not even thought about that… we just want to win the game in the 90 minutes. If it means going to extra time or penalties, then it must happen then.
"But the way we are looking at it is to win the game in the 90 minutes.
"I'd love to take a penalty. I'd relish the opportunity. You don't get many chances to say that you've taken a penalty in a semi-final play-off, do you?
"So if I'm asked to take one, I'll take one.
"I can't remember, honestly when I took a penalty - it may have been under 16s or something like that, but I honestly can't remember.
"But it's not really that important to talk about at this time.
"I think it's all about the 90 minutes and what's going to happen then.
"We've not even thought about that [penalties]… we just want to win the game in the 90 minutes. If it means going to extra time or penalties, then it must happen then.
"But the way we are looking at it is to win the game in the 90 minutes."
