Full-back Dale Tonge pens new Rotherham United contract

Tonge has made 109 league appearances for Rotherham

Rotherham United full-back Dale Tonge has signed a new two-year deal at the League Two club.

The 26-year-old at the Don Valley stadium following his release from local rivals Barnsley in May 2007.

Tonge, who has made 138 appearances for the Millers, missed the first half of this season because of back injury but went on to play 23 games.

"It was great to be offered a new deal and I was happy to sign," he told the club website.

"I've had some injury problems but I had a good run in the side at the end of last season and everything is fine now. I'm looking forward to my first proper pre-season in two years."
