Worcester City snap up Danny Carey-Bertram

Worcester City have signed former Hereford United and AFC Telford striker Danny Carey-Bertram.
The 27-year-old was released by the Bucks following their promotion to the Blue Square Bet Premier.
City assistant boss Matt Gardiner told BBC Hereford & Worcester: "He is a proven goalscorer, although last season he was a bit unlucky with injuries.
"He went on loan to Hednesford and scored six goals in four games, so he has still got it."
Carey-Bertam was AFC Telford United's leading scorer in the 2008/09 campaign with 29 goals. But injuries plagued him last season as he struggled to get a run in the side.
And Bucks boss Andy Sinton opted to release him at the end of the campaign.
Gardiner says that boss Carl Heeley sees Carey-Bertam as a perfect replacement for Danny Glover, who has left for Nuneaton.
"Carl has been shrewd in that he had a contingency plan were Danny Glover to move on," said Gardiner.
"We tried to leave the door open for Danny for as long as possible but, if it looks like it is not going to go your way, then it is always good to have a 'Plan B'."
"Danny is just peaking at the right time and is a goal threat.
"We fought off four or five clubs to get his signature and he wants to come to the club for the right reasons."
