Green requested that the club cancelled his contract

Peterborough winger Dominic Green has left the club after having his contract terminated by mutual consent.

Boss Darren Ferguson worked hard to purchase the 21-year-old from Dagenham three years ago, but he has made just 11 Posh starts since then.

He has contributed 20 appearances from the bench and has had loan spells at Chesterfield, Rushden and, most recently, St Neots.

The wideman still had another 12 months to run on his London Road deal.
