Tranmere Rovers have completed the signing of goalkeeper Owain Fon Williams on a two-year contract.
The 24-year-old, former Welsh Under-21 international and three-time squad member for the senior side, was a free agent after leaving Rochdale.
"Owain has been our first choice target for some time," said Tranmere manager Les Parry.
"He's already made more than 120 appearances and was part of Wales' most successful ever U21 side."
Parry said he knows exactly what he is likely to get from Fon Williams: "I'm really pleased to be able to bring him to the club.
"Our goalkeeper coach Dave Timmins has worked with him before at Stockport and he comes highly recommended."
Fon Williams began his career at Crewe Alexandra but did not make his first team debut until he joined Stockport County in 2008.
He made 91 appearances for Stockport and spent time on loan at Bury before joining Rochdale last season.
