New Walsall contract for George Bowerman

Walsall have handed a new contract to teenage striker George Bowerman.

The 19-year-old, a product of the club's youth system, signed his first professional deal with the League One club last year.

Bowerman joined non-league Redditch United on loan in February but now aims to cement his career with the Saddlers

He told the club website: "I want to start the season strongly for the reserves before pushing for a place in the first team."
