Former Togo coach Hubert Velud has been appointed as coach of Moroccan side Hassania Agadir.
The 52-year-old signed a one-year contract after leaving French side third division Creteil.
Velud, who returns to Africa after coaching Togo for one year, is delighted with the facilities he has seen at Hassania.
"I have checked and I know that Morocco wants to set up a professional league from next season," Velud said.
"I visited the facilities owned by Hassania and what I saw has attracted me to work with them."
Velud was in charge of Togo when they were suspended the Hawks and fined by Caf for withdrawing after a gun attack on the team bus in Angola last year.
He is a former goalkeeper who has worked previously as a coach with clubs in France's lower leagues.
