Plymouth Argyle sign Luke Young and Jamie Richards

Plymouth Argyle have promoted two of their youth team players to the club's first team.
Defender Jamie Richards, 17, has penned a three-year deal at Home Park while midfielder Luke Young has signed a 12-month contract.
Richards has yet to make a first team appearance for the Pilgrims while Young made his debut in the home defeat by Bournemouth, external in January.

"Considering that I've been at the club since I was nine, then to get the two-year scholarship and then at the end of that to get the first professional contract that I've been working towards for all these years, is really special," Young told the club website., external
"This season, I'd love to become a regular in the starting line-up.," added Young.
"If not, I'll continue to get my head down and keep working hard in training and hope the gaffer picks me."
Richards has made 11 reserve team appearances for Argyle and says he likes to play an uncomplicated brand of football.
"I win my tackles and I win my headers. I don't try and do anything fancy, just do my job and give the ball to the midfielders," he said.
"I'll keep working hard in the hope of impressing the gaffer and getting a chance in the first-team."
