Iwelumo scored 14 goals in 27 league starts while at Wolves

Watford have signed Burnley striker Chris Iwelumo on a two-year deal for an undisclosed fee.

The 32-year-old, who joined the Clarets from Wolves last summer, external, made 31 starts and 19 substitute appearances while at Turf Moor, scoring 11 goals.

The Scotland international started his career at St Mirren before a spell with Danish club Aarhus.

He moved to England in February 2000, signing for Stoke, before spells at Colchester, external.

His time with the Potters was littered with loan spells at York, Cheltenham and Brighton before another stint abroad, this time with German outfit Alemania.

A move to Colchester materialised in 2005, where he scored 35 goals in 87 league starts across two seasons, and he netted 10 times in the 2007-08 campaign for Charlton.

Iwelumo hit 16 goals in 42 games for Wolves, before heading to Bristol City on loan, external and then Burnley in a permanent move last year.
