Oliver Risser named new Swindon Town captain

Swindon Town have named Namibia international Oliver Risser as their new club captain.
The 30-year-old, who joined the Robins earlier this month, external, takes on the role following the departure of Jonathan Douglas to Brentford, external.
"It's nice to get the acknowledgement from the gaffer," he told BBC Wiltshire, external.
"I've played this position before so I hope I can bring my experience and knowledge to the team."
Before arriving at the County Ground, Risser had spent most of his career playing in the German lower leagues and also had a spells in Scandinavia as well as his native Namibia.
"I thought about moving back to South Africa to play in the professional league but when I heard about Swindon I changed my mind.
"I think this is a good opportunity and I want to take it."
