Welsh international Owain Tudur Jones has agreed to join Inverness from Norwich on a one-year deal.

The 26-year-old midfielder is travelling north to complete his move and could make his debut at home to Hibernian on Saturday.

Jones had 12 months left on his contract at Carrow Road but only played two games for the Canaries last season.

He joined Norwich from Swansea in 2009 and spent time on loan at Brentford and Yeovil last term.

Jones, capped six times, played for Wales in the 3-1 defeat by Scotland in May's Carling Nations Cup in Dublin.

Meanwhile, Caley Thistle's Thistle's signing of Austria under-21 international full-back Thomas Piermayr, external is now complete after international clearance was granted.
