Wagstaff made 49 appearances last season, scoring 10 goals
Charlton Athletic have confirmed winger Scott Wagstaff has signed a one-year contract extension.
The 21-year old made his Addicks debut in 2008 and this new deal keeps him at the Addicks until at least 2013.
Manager Chris Powell told his club's official website: "He's a young player with talent. He got double figures last season, which is a good return."
But Powell admits Christian Dailly is unlikely to return to the club after his contract expired this summer.
Meanwhile, the club have offered professional terms to England Under-16 midfielder Diego Poyet, son of Brighton manager Gus.
Academy director Paul Hart said: "Since arriving at the club, I've been very, very impressed with the way Diego has worked and his attitude towards the game."
