Lee Elam spent pre-season with York City in 2007

Harrogate Town have announced the signings of three players ahead of their opening game of the new Blue Square Bet North season.

Midfielder Lee Elam and striker Will Turl have both joined the club after being involved in the club's pre-season preparations.

They are joined by Hartlepool United striker Callum Hassan who is on loan for month.

All three will be available for the game at home to Altrincham.

Elam, 34, was at Stalybridge last season. He began his career at Southport in 2002.

Turl finished last year at Pontefract Collieries in the Northern Counties Eastern League.

Hassan, 18 has not made a competitive start for Hartlepool but he scored three times during pre-season matches.
