Newport County striker Robbie Matthews has re-joined Forest Green Rovers on a one-month loan deal.

The 29-year-old spent the final two months of last season at the New Lawn last year, scoring once in seven league appearances.

The former Kidderminster Harriers and Crawley Town man will act as cover for the suspended James Norwood.

Boss David Hockaday said: "Robbie's big, angry and horrible and will be a big asset to the group."
