Milton Keynes Dons have signed striker Charlie MacDonald from Brentford for an undisclosed fee.

MacDonald helped his former employers to the League Two title in 2008/09, finishing that season as the club's top goalscorer with 18 goals.

MK Dons boss Karl Robinson said, external: "I'm really excited to have Charlie at the club, he is a natural born goalscorer."

MacDonald added: "Having spoken to the gaffer and seeing the club and them being top of the league, it was a no-brainer for me to make the decision to come over to MK Dons."
