Yeovil Town are hoping to sign Flavien Belson before Saturday's League One game with Sheffield Wednesday.

The Glovers are currently waiting on international clearance for the 24-year-old ex-MK Dons midfielder, who has recently been on trial at Huish Park.

"He's come in and he's done very well," boss Terry Skiverton told BBC Somerset.

"He's played against us for MK Dons so he's got a good pedigree, he's played at this level but he's fallen down a bit in the pecking order."

Skiverton added: "But he's someone who could cover very well for someone like Paul Wotton."

The Yeovil boss also confirmed that he was interested in bringing in another striker, with Huddersfield's Danny Cadamarteri, external a possible candidate for a loan deal.

"I can't say too much. I've had people on about Oli Johnson, external, Danny Cadamarteri - there's three or four names who have been posted our way.

"I'm looking to get someone done but I can't keep saying 'we are getting this one' until it's set in stone."

Meanwhile, Skiverton revealed that midfielder Gavin Williams will be sidelined for around three months with a knee injury.
