Bournemouth sign defender Stephane Zubar

Bournemouth have signed defender Stephane Zubar on a one-year deal, with the option for a second 12 months.

The 24-year-old Guadeloupe cap left Plymouth last month after making 34 appearances in his year at the club and went for a trial with the Cherries.

He told the club website: "It is a good club with good players and I am really happy to be here. I have kept myself fit and I feel good and ready to play.

"I played for the reserves this week and I felt that went OK."
