Euro 2012: Damien Roden absence 'disappoints' Wales boss Gary Speed

Wales manager Gary Speed admitted he is "disappointed" that a key member of his backroom staff is not alongside him for Wales' final Euro 2012 double-header.
Damien Roden will miss the final qualifiers with Switzerland and Bulgaria because of a contract dispute with the Football Association of Wales.
Speed appointed Roden as Wales' head of performance after the 42-year-old replaced John Toshack, external as Wales boss.
"It is something we're dealing with internally," said Speed.
Asked if he was disappointed, Speed replied: "Yes, but that's as much as I can say."
Speed has worked with Roden since his playing days at Bolton Wanderers where the sports scientist worked under the then Reebok Stadium manager Sam Allardyce.
But Roden, who had also been head of sports science at Blackburn Rovers and Manchester City in the Premier League, was not named as part of the Wales set-up for Friday's game with Switzerland in Swansea and Tuesday's trip to Bulgaria.
