Euro 2012: Who has qualified for next summer's event

Nasri's goal 12 minutes from time saw France through to the Euro 2012 finals

France have booked their place at Euro 2012 as winners of Group D after Samir Nasri's penalty earned them a 1-1 home draw with Bosnia-Hercegovina.

Edin Dzeko had given the visitors hope of pipping France to top spot in the group, but Nasri's goal means they will have to settle for the play-offs.

Denmark, Greece, Russia and best runners-up Sweden claimed the other remaining automatic spots.

Both Portugal and Turkey were forced to settle for a play-off place.

Portugal had held top spot in Group H, but a 2-1 defeat by Denmark, for whom Michael Krohn-Delhi and Nicklas Bendtner scored, in Copenhagen consigned them to second place.

Turkey's 1-0 win over Azerbaijan meant they pipped Belgium to second spot in Group A after the Belgians lost 3-1 in Germany.

Scotland's 3-1 defeat in Spain, coupled with the Czech Republic's 4-1 win in Lithuania ended the former's hopes and saw the Czechs take the play-off place from Group I, while Greece's 2-1 win in Georgia meant Croatia finished second in Group F.

The draw for the play-offs will take place on Thursday 13 October, with the first-leg matches scheduled for 11 or 12 November and the second leg on 15 November.

Russia began the day needing only a point to ensure automatic qualification, but took all three courtesy of a comfortable 6-0 win over Andorra in Group B, a result which ensured that the Republic of Ireland go into the play-offs despite beating Armenia 2-1.

Sweden secured the final automatic place, as the best runners-up, thanks to their 3-2 win over Netherlands, which bought an end to the Dutch's 100% record.
