Hereford United have signed former Bolton and Blackburn defender Andy Todd on non-contract terms.

The 37-year-old, who also played in the Premier League for Charlton and Derby, began his career at Middlesbrough.

Last season, the centre-half made six appearances for Oldham after two years with Perth Glory in Australia.

Todd, who has been training with Port Vale, has been handed the number 29 shirt and is available for Saturday's home match with Bradford City.
