Bristol Rovers collected a much-needed three points against struggling Dagenham & Redbridge.

Joe Anyinsah put the hosts in front when he volleyed home after Scott McGleish's initial shot was blocked.

Matt Harrold sealed the win from the penalty spot in the final minute after he had been brought down in the area by Abu Ogogo.

The Daggers struggled to create any chances of note and now sit just one point outside the relegation zone.

VIEWS FROM THE DRESSING ROOM

Dagenham and Redbridge assistant boss Terry Harris told BBC London 94.9:

Harris concerned with Daggers form

"We wanted to build on Tuesday after Crawley, but even though we countered everything they had, we never got going, and again we gave two goals away from restarts.

"I think we had one shot on goal and that is a concern, and we know that, we are having a bad time, but we are trying to build again.

"The relationship between us and the club is absolutely first class, we are well supported. At any other club we may have been gone by now, but Dagenham is a special club, and they realise what we are trying to do."
