Wycombe Wanderers loan for Reading striker Bignall

Bignall's three Reading starts have come in the League Cup

Wycombe have completed the signing of Reading striker Nicholas Bignall on a one-month loan deal.

The 21-year-old, who has three Reading starts to his name, is eligible to face Charlton on Tuesday.

He has two goals for the Royals, both coming on his debut in a 5-1 League Cup win over Burton in August 2009., external

"He will give us a different option. He is strong and he has got pace," Chairboys boss Gary Waddock told the club website, external.

"We're looking for goals and hopefully he can help us out in that department."

Wycombe will be Bignall's eighth different loan club after spells at Northampton, Cheltenham, Stockport, Southampton, Bournemouth, Brentford and Exeter.

The forward, who can also play on the wing, failed to score in four starts during his one-month stint with the Grecians at the beginning of the season.
