AFC Fylde have signed goalkeeper Zac Jones from Harrogate Town.

The 22-year-old had been at the CNG Stadium on a non-contract basis since September after injuries to Harrogate's first and second choice goalkeepers.

Town manager Simon Weaver told BBC Radio York, external: "He did a steady job for us and it's one of those things.

"If someone's on a non-contract other clubs have got an opportunity of coming in for a player and he goes with our best wishes."

Mark Cook and Chris Elliott are still ruled out for Harrogate Town but Weaver said there is still cover with Ben Wilson on a month's loan from Sunderland.

"I think we've got some good keepers," he said.

"I think Ben Wilson is an excellent keeper who is coming in and so I think we'll have enough cover anyway.

"Ben will be in the net this weekend with Cooky and Chris Elliott unavailable.

"Ben I think did really well last week. He's got a really good spring about him and his technique is excellent so he's grateful for his opportunity here."
