Grimsby Town extend loan of Hull City's Conor Townsend

Townsend made his Mariners debut in the 5-0 win over Ashington.

Grimsby Town have extended the loan spell of Hull City left-back Conor Townsend by a further month.

The 18-year-old joined from the Tigers last month and has made five appearances for the Blue Square Premier club so far.

He is yet to make his Hull debut, having joined City at the age of eight.

Townsend featured in the FA Cup first round replay win against Port Vale and is available to play in the second round tie against Salisbury City.
