Bournemouth have completed the loan signing of Leyton Orient defender Charlie Daniels until January, when he will sign a three-and-a-half-year deal.
It is believed that the transfer fee will be worth up to £200,000.
Daniels, 25, began his professional career at Tottenham and had loan spells at Chesterfield, Orient and Gillingham before joining the O's permanently.
"I think he is one of the best left-backs in the league," Cherries boss Lee Bradbury told BBC Radio Solent., external
"He is a good age, a good athlete and has a really good left foot and ticks all the boxes. This sends out a really good signal about where the club is going," added Bradbury.
Daniels made 137 appearances for Orient after joining in January 2009 and he said: "This is a great opportunity for me to join a club that is moving in the right direction. I'm really happy to be here and I'm looking forward to it."
