Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha signs new deal

Crystal Palace's highly-rated winger Wilfried Zaha has signed a new five-and-a-half-year deal at the club.

The 19-year-old, who has reportedly been targeted by several Premier League sides, has scored five times in 26 games so far this season.

Eagles boss Dougie Freedman told the club website: "A lot of hard work has seen him develop extremely well over the last year.

"I look forward to seeing him progress even further in a Palace shirt."

Zaha, who has caught the attention of Fulham, Liverpool and Newcastle United, turned in a man of the match display in the Carling Cup victory against Manchester United in November, external.

After marking his full debut on the opening day of last season with a goal against Leicester City, external, the England Under-19 forward went on to sign a four-and-a-half year deal in November 2010, external.
