Blackburn Rovers boss Steve Kean targets January transfers

Blackburn Rovers manager Steve Kean has targeted four swift signings when the January transfer window opens.
Rovers, who sit four points from safety at the bottom of the Premier League, drew 1-1 at Liverpool on Boxing Day.
Kean said: "I think we need four and if we can get them quickly, together with lads coming out of the medical room, I think we can climb the table quickly.
"If we can get established players in and get them bedded into the team then that can only be good for everybody."
Kean's determination to add to strengthen his squad, particularly the defence, only confirms his belief that he still has the backing of owners Venky's, despite the regular protests staged against the Scot and the India-based Ewood Park hierarchy.
And he was delighted with Rovers' performance at Anfield, where Maxi Rodriguez's header equalised Charlie Adam's own goal on the stroke of half-time.
"The spirit of the players has always been there to see and anyone who says it hasn't is pulling the wool over their own eyes," Kean added.
"We are a young group but we are a tight group. We have come to a place like Anfield and ground out a result.
"We go to Manchester United next but things are never easy in this league. There are two ways you can look at it - you can either be scared or you can see it as an opportunity. I said to them before the game not to leave any regrets in the dressing room.
"I told the players to go out and have the courage to play, that there has been some great football played on that grass out there at Anfield and to go out and play."
