Millwall are to sign Ryan Mason and Harry Kane from Tottenham Hotspur on youth loans when the transfer window opens on 1 January.

Mason, a 20-year-old midfielder who has been on loan at Doncaster Rovers, and striker Kane, 18, will link up with the Lions until the end of the season.

"Both are attacking players," boss Kenny Jackett told the club website, external.

"Harry is a goalscorer and Ryan is a very creative player with experience of playing in the Championship."

Jackett added: "I do think that our goalscoring options, which do need to improve, will be helped by the acquisition of these two players."

Both players are yet to make their Premier League debuts for parent club Spurs, although Kane registered his first goal in a 4-0 Europa League win at Shamrock Rovers earlier this season - one of six European outings this term.

Mason has made 15 appearance on loan at Doncaster this season, having featured only once for Spurs in the 2008-09 Uefa Cup.
