Preston North End sign Jake Jervis from Birmingham City

Preston North End have signed Birmingham City forward Jake Jervis on loan until 28 January.

The 20-year-old has just returned from a loan spell at League Two side Swindon, where he scored five goals in 14 appearances.

Jervis has previously had loan spells at Hereford and Notts County.

Joint Lilywhites caretaker-manager Graham Alexander told the club website: "He is a physical lad. He has got a decent touch and a bit of pace."
