Alejandro Faurlin will miss rest of QPR season

QPR midfielder Alejandro Faurlin will miss the rest of the season after rupturing his anterior cruciate ligament against MK Dons on Saturday.
The 25-year-old was carried off on a stretcher towards the end of Rangers's 1-1 draw in the FA Cup at Stadium MK.
Faurlin revealed on Twitter, external: "It's bad news for me. I have [a] rupture of the ACL. I'm out for the rest of the season. Really disappointed and sad.
"Things [have] never been easy for me but for sure I will be back stronger."
Faurlin joined QPR in the summer of 2009 from Instituto in his native Argentina and was voted player of the year by both players and fans in his first season.
He helped the club win promotion to the Premier League last season but Rangers are currently 17th in the top flight having won just four of their 20 games so far.
