Leeds United have signed United States international winger Robbie Rogers, subject to securing a work permit.
The 24-year-old, who made 106 appearances for Columbus Crew in the MLS, has been on trial at Elland Road.
United manager Simon Grayson believes Rogers can have a real impact on the club's faltering Championship form.
"As soon as the work permit is complete he will be an immediate part of our plans and have an opportunity with the first team," Grayson said.
