Maxime Blanchard extends Plymouth Argyle stay

Plymouth Argyle have agreed a deal to keep defender Maxime Blanchard at the club until the end of the season.
The former Tranmere Rovers defender, 25, joined Argyle as a free agent in November and has made seven appearances for the Home Park club.
"Max came in and has showed the hunger and desire that we wanted," manager Carl Fletcher told the club website, external.
Blanchard becomes the third player to sign a deal at Argyle this month after Nick Chadwick.
"It's a great opportunity for him, and we hope he carries on in the vein he has since he's been here," Fletcher added.
The deal is subject to Football League approval as Argyle have only just come out of administration.
