Crewe 4-1 Dag and Red

Crewe extended their winning run to three games with a convincing victory over Dagenham & Redbridge.

David Artell's poor clearance allowed Brian Woodall to put the visitors ahead with a curling shot before Greg Pearson levelled with a six-yard half-volley.

Daggers keeper Chris Lewington then failed to clear Abu Agogo's backpass, which trickled into the net.

Adam Dugdale headed in a third for Crewe before Nick Powell chipped in superbly late on to complete the rout.

Scoreline tough on Daggers - Davis

"All in all, the scoreline probably didn't reflect the game, although if you look at the possession side of it, I felt we were much the better team.

"I don't think people appreciated how difficult the conditions were today, but we still played the football we do when it's a decent day.

"It takes guts to do that and I'm obviously delighted to get the three points."
