Truro City release striker Dan Smith

Truro City have released striker Dan Smith from his contract.
The 22-year-old former Plymouth Argyle trainee, who has also played for Eastbourne Borough and Weymouth, signed a one-year deal at Treyew Road in July.
But White Tigers boss Lee Hodges says he has agreed to let Smith leave so he can try and play football full-time.
"He feels he is not performing to the level he wants to, and that the way to get back to that level is to return to the full-time game," Hodges said.
Smith came on as a 32nd minute substitute in City's 2-0 home defeat by Chelmsford in the Blue Square Bet South on Saturday.
"It would have been nice to have kept him, but I would never stand in the way of a player who wants to go higher.
"I don't even know if he's got another club lined up yet he said he's got nothing officially sorted out," Hodges added.
Smith's departure comes as Truro apply to have their transfer embargo lifted by the Conference after they cleared their tax debts.
