Brighton have signed goalkeeper David Gonzalez until the end of the season.

The 29-year-old spent the first half of the campaign on loan at Scottish Premier League side Aberdeen from Manchester City, playing 15 games.

City released the Colombian, who spent time on loan at Leeds last season, earlier this month following his return from Pittodrie.

Boss Gus Poyet told the club website: "David is an international with excellent pedigree."
