Luke Guttridge makes Northampton Town return

Guttridge has played for seven different clubs in his career

Northampton Town have signed midfielder Luke Guttridge on an 18-month deal following his release by Aldershot.

The 29-year-old left Sixfields in the summer of 2010 to join the Shots, where he made 80 appearances.

He featured 63 times, scoring nine goals, in his previous Cobblers spell which lasted two years.

Since debuting for Torquay 12 years ago he has gone on to amass 353 league games for clubs including Cambridge United, Southend and Colchester.

He made 33 appearances for Aldershot this season before having his contract terminated by mutual consent.
