Motherwell's Jamie Murphy turns down Blackpool move
- Published
Motherwell forward Jamie Murphy has rejected the chance to join Blackpool after the clubs agreed a transfer fee.
The 22-year-old, who is under contract until the summer of 2013, held talks with the Championship side on Tuesday afternoon.
However, he has chosen to stay at Fir Park rather than add to the strong Scottish contingent at Bloomfield Road.
A Scotland U21 international, Murphy has scored eight goals this season, taking his club total to 34.
