Plymouth Argyle hope to extend Alex MacDonald loan

Plymouth Argyle manager Carl Fletcher is hoping the club can extend the successful loan spell of Burnley striker Alex MacDonald.
The 21-year-old Scot has scored three goals in three games since joining Argyle on transfer deadline day.
But his deal at the club runs out on after the 6 March clash at AFC Wimbledon in League Two.
"We're looking into it, hopefully we can get that done," Fletcher told BBC Radio Devon.
"I've already spoken to Ed [Burnley manager Eddie Howe] and Macca and we're looking and hopefully we can get things sorted.
"I don't think it'll be this week, more likely next week because of the paperwork," he added.
