Harrogate Town manager Simon Weaver saw his side concede twice in three minutes as his side lost 3-1 at FC Halifax.

Chib Chilaka put Harrogate ahead but Aaron Wint and Danny Holland scored to put Halifax ahead before James Dean added the third.

Weaver told BBC Radio York, external: "Everything seemed to be going to plan but we switched off and had a poor three-minute spell.

"We conceded sloppy goals today and opened the door for them."

Harrogate held the lead for just eight minutes before Wint equalised and Holland put the home side in front just after the half hour mark.

Weaver added: "When we went 1-0 up from a good set piece we were in the driving seat.

"We started in their half and we looked organised.

"Everyone knew and understood their roles and you could feel the home crowd were going to beat up their own team."
