Stockport sign striker Danny Hattersley from Lancaster

Stockport County have signed striker Danny Hattersley from Lancaster City.

The 19-year-old has scored 23 goals so far this season for the Northern Premier Division side and has signed a deal until June 2013.

County manager Jim Gannon told the club website: "I am keen to accelerate the rebuilding process at the club by bringing in young dynamic players.

"With the departure of Martin Gritton in mind, it makes good sense to bring in one such player in Danny."
