Ebbsfleet United keeper Preston Edwards out for season
- Published
Ebbsfleet keeper Preston Edwards has been ruled out for the rest of the season, so Bristol Rovers' Lance Cronin will stay at the Fleet.
England C international Edwards, 22, had been playing through the pain.
But Fleet manager Liam Daish told BBC Radio Kent: "He needs to have a small op on his ankle."
Cronin, 26, who rejoined United on a month's loan in February to cover Edwards's suspension, will now stay at Stonebridge Road until the summer.
